Through discussion, lecture and practice, this 8-hour PILOT course is designed to provide a basic knowledge of Electronics and Solid State. 

AEG Year 4 Candidates in the NAEC CET™ Education Program are eligible and welcome to attend.

 

Participants can attend In-Person or join remotely.  Registrants will be contacted to confirm their method of attendance.

This is a great class for all field personnel. It can be used as a refresher for seasoned field technicians or as a supplement to candidates in the CET 4th -year electronic course. You will be able to identify basic electronic components and understand how they function in a circuit while using them in a specially designed-electronic kit to build circuits. Basic theories of electricity will also be reviewed and discussed. This class also includes tactile education with the use of an electronic kit that will be issued to all participants. The instructor will review each circuit kit once created to ensure the circuit is operational.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

 

To learn and identify electronic components and learn how they operate in a circuit. Participants will build an actual circuit and the instructor will verify the operation of that circuit.
